Sandcut Beach

Part of the Jordan River Regional Park, the beach is accessible via a small parking lot just off the highway. The 400-meter walk to the beach is family-friendly, featuring boardwalks that make the stroll pleasant despite the 34-meter elevation change and some stairs.

Upon reaching the beach, you’ll be treated to a stunning view of the Olympic Mountains. This area is renowned for whale watching, seals basking in the sun, and sightings of bald eagles.

From the beach, turn left and walk 700 meters to discover the famous waterfall. In winter, the waterfall experiences significant runoff from rainfall, while in summer, the water flow diminishes to a trickle.
