Photo Session

MINI Session

  • Duration: Up to 30 minutes.
  • Deliverables: 20 edited photos.
  • Availability: Clients must choose from scheduled locations, dates, and times set by the photographer.
  • Note: Mini sessions are not suitable for newborns or groups larger than five people. For larger groups or more extensive family sessions, please opt for an Adventure session.

ADVENTURE Session

  • Duration: 1.5 hours.
  • Deliverables: Minimum of 50 edited photos, with up to 100 possible depending on factors like weather and kids behavior.
  • Ideal for: Proposals, engagements, or family photoshoots.
  • Customization: We will discuss time, location, outfits – everything to make the photo session unforgettable.

Photo Session Fees (2025, CAD, taxes included)
MINI: $250 for 10 edited high-resolution digital photos, 15 minutes, one outfit, one location. Full payment required at the time of booking.
ADVENTURE: $600 for 50 edited high-resolution digital photos, up to 1.5 hours. A non-refundable $300 deposit is required.

Photo Session Additional Costs
Extra photos: $20 each. Clients select their favorite photos from the online gallery.
Entry tickets (e.g., museum tickets) are not included and must be purchased separately for both you and the photographer.
For photo sessions located within Canada but outside the province of British Columbia, a 15% additional fee will be applied to the base price.

Photo Session Reservations
Your session is confirmed only once payment is received. Session fees are non-refundable and contribute to the planning of your shoot.
Each session has a fixed time. Please arrive on time; late arrivals will shorten the session, and the photographer is not responsible for missed time.

Wedding

General Terms
All terms and conditions related to wedding photography are detailed in the Wedding Contract.
A second photographer or personal photography during the session is not allowed without prior permission.

ELOPEMENT Wedding

  • Duration: 2 hours.
  • Deliverables: Minimum of 100 edited photos.
  • Customization: You choose the location and style, whether it’s a mountaintop, a rainy forest, or a sunrise beach on the Pacific West Coast.
  • Additional hour cost is CAD 550. Please contact with the photographer for additional hours.

CLASSIC Wedding

  • Duration: 6 hours.
  • Deliverables: Minimum of 300 high-quality photos.
  • Coverage Includes: Getting ready, bridal party, first look, wedding details, bride and groom portraits, ceremony, family photos, and the start of the wedding reception and speeches.
  • Additional hour cost is CAD 500. Please contact with the photographer for additional hours.
  • The maximum coverage is 12 hours per day.

ALL-INCLUSIVE Wedding

  • Duration: FULL-DAY (12 hours per day) coverage.
  • Deliverables: Minimum of 600 high-quality photos.
  • Coverage Includes: Getting ready, bridal party, first look, wedding details, bride and groom portraits, ceremony, family photos, and the start of the wedding reception and speeches.

Remaining

Rescheduling & Cancellations
Deposits are non-refundable. Cancellations made up to 2 days before a shooting day may apply the deposit towards the next mini session event or a regular session.
New dates are subject to the photographer’s availability. We will make reasonable efforts to reschedule your session during a tax year.

Travel Fees
South Vancouver Island (Metro Victoria) travel cost is included in a basic price.
Photographer is available to travel to other regions. Travel cost varies depending on location.
Client will cover all additional costs incurred when the photo session takes place outside of the South Vancouver Island region. These costs can include:

  • transportation (fuel and vehicle depreciation or flights),
  • ferry fares,
  • accommodation (lodging and meals),
  • hotel if needed.

Liability and Copyright
Photographer is the copyright owner unless a contract says otherwise.
Photographer authorizes Client to print photos or to publish photos on own social media page (noncommercial, personal use only).
Client hereby assigns and grants Vira Mylyan-Monastyrska the irrevocable and unrestricted right to use and publish photographs of the client or in which the Client may be included, for photographer’s advertising and promotions.
Client is aware that the quality of the end result of the digital files delivered is not under the control of the photographer and frees MonaVira Photography from any liability for any claims whatsoever for the final print result if not printed through MonaVira Photography.
